The Sunset Actletes are new this year!
This unique, empowering opportunity for area high school students is a significant experience for young people to explore theatre and create work based in their own ideas, input, initiative, and perspective. Students are led through a season-long process of classes, workshops, rehearsals and performance, all facilitated by professional theater artists. The Sunset Actletes will be given the freedom to explore their individual relationships with the theater art in a supportive environment where they can freely take leaps of creativity with the safety net of The Sunset Playhouse and its community based value system.
This opportunity to dream big, work hard and expand creative thought is open to all area high school students interested in making a commitment with the Sunset Playhouse. Participation is free-of-charge based on a generous grant from The Elm Grove Junior Guild.
